Ozark High School is proud to announce that head volleyball coach Adeana Chrestman has been named the 2024-25 NFHS MSHSAA Girls Volleyball Coach of the Year. The award recognizes her leadership, dedication, and success in guiding Ozark volleyball through one of its most dominant seasons in recent history, culminating in a state runner-up finish last year.
“I am truly honored to receive the 2024-25 NFHS MSHSAA Girls Volleyball Coach of the Year,” Chrestman said. “This recognition is especially meaningful because I know how many talented and knowledgeable coaches we have across the state who are deserving of this recognition. Any success I’ve experienced is a direct reflection of the incredible and talented athletes I’ve had the privilege to coach and the support of the Ozark School District and the Ozark community.”
Chrestman also highlighted the role of her staff in the program’s success.
“I am beyond blessed to have amazing assistant coaches by my side whose dedication, passion, and knowledge make our program stronger every single day,” she said. “I am deeply grateful to be part of such a special program and community.”
OHS Athletic Director Yancey Little noted that Chrestman’s recognition is well-deserved, pointing to her tireless dedication to the program.
“Adeana is building on the tradition of Ozark volleyball and being one of the top programs in the state,” Little said. “She and her staff are always evolving their practices and philosophies to fit her team's strengths and weaknesses. Her guidance not only helps her players in their high school careers but also prepares them for college volleyball, as well.”
The Ozark Varsity Volleyball team is off to a strong start in the 2025-26 season, currently holding a 13-0 record, a testament to the continued excellence and leadership of Chrestman and her staff.
