OZARK TIGERS

Ozark | 11/14/2024

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, six Ozark High School athletes announced that they have committed to play their sport at the collegiate level. Congrats to all of these athletes and we can’t wait to see what they do in the future!

Cooper Pumphrey--University of Missouri--Baseball
"Cooper is a leader both on and off the baseball field. He holds a 4.0 GPA and was named Academic All-State. His goals are big—not just for himself, but for his team this year—and as a coach, you really appreciate that. Cooper is the kind of player every coach hopes to have at least once in their program. Mizzou is gaining not only a talented baseball player but an exceptional person in their program." - Justin Sundlie, Baseball Head Coach

Gannon Miller--Drury University--Baseball
"Gannon never wants to come off the field, which is rare and special for a catcher. Last year, he earned All-Conference and All-District honors as a catcher, maintained a 4.0 GPA, and was named Academic All-State. He never misses the weight room or a practice. He’s tough, smart, talented, and absolutely outworks everyone. I’m very excited for him—he’s going to do exceptionally well at Drury." - Justin Sundlie, Baseball Head Coach

Macy Humble--Missouri State University--Volleyball
"She’s dedicated countless hours to volleyball year-round, whether competing in elite-level club volleyball or playing a key role on our varsity team. Macey is probably one of the most well-rounded players I’ve coached—she can perform any skill at a high level. She’s a true leader by example on the court. I’m excited to see her continue her volleyball journey, and I truly believe the best is yet to come for her." - Adeana Brewer, Head Volleyball Coach

Reece Cook--Grambling State University--Volleyball
"Reece is one of the most compassionate and competitive athletes I’ve had the privilege to coach. She’s incredibly driven to push herself, and her leadership by example is contagious on the floor. When you see someone working that hard and pushing themselves, it makes you want to give the same effort. I really admire that quality about Reece, and I’m excited to see where her journey takes her." - Adeana Brewer, Head Volleyball Coach

Skylar Hilton--Drury University--Volleyball
"Skylar has shown incredible growth and learning over the years, and it’s been such a joy to watch her development. This season was her best yet, finishing with the highest overall hitting percentage in Class 5. Even with that success, I believe her best is still ahead. Skylar has an easygoing presence but knows when to turn on her competitive edge. She has a unique ability to bring out the best in her teammates, which is truly rare. We’re going to miss her both on and off the court next year." - Adeana Brewer, Head Volleyball Coach

Aisha Williamson--Judson University--Volleyball
"Aisha has been an exceptional, selfless leader for us. She plays a crucial role in motivating the team to perform at a high level, doing so in an incredibly unselfish way. Her impact on our success this season went beyond her performance on the court—she consistently showed and taught her teammates by example. I’m truly excited to see how her college experience unfolds and look forward to following her journey." - Adeana Brewer, Head Volleyball Coach
