OF THE WEEKS (2/10)

OZARK TIGERS

OZARK | 2/10/2025

Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Colton Wilson & Adi Hoelzle; artist Ellie Harmon; and Tiger Drew Ridinger.

Colton, a member of the boys' wrestling team, has grown a lot this season, according to Head Coach Tod Sundlie.

“Colton was our only COC conference champion, helping lead our team to their team conference championship this past weekend,' Sundlie said. "He is a freshman who continues to grow quickly during this challenging part of our season."

Adi is is a standout member of the Ozark girls wrestling team, according to Head Coach Tod Sundlie

"Adi was a COC conference finalist last week, and has had a fantastic senior season," Sundlie said. "She is one of our two, first ever four-year varsity letter winners for the girls wrestling program."

Ellie is a talented part of the OHS band program, according Assistant Band Director DJ Faught.

"Ellie plays Oboe and is a member of this year's Missouri All-State Band," Faught said. "She is a hard worker and leader in our program. Not only is she great on the oboe, but her piano skills are an asset to our front ensemble during the marching season."

Drew is a talented member of JROTC Rifle and Raider teams, according to sponsor William Crawford.

"She has been part of the JROTC program for five years and has developed into an outstanding leader," Crawford said. "As the company commander of Charlie Company, which includes our 8th grade JROTC cadets, she continues to impress both as an athlete and a leader.

In November, she placed second at the Ultimate Raider competition at Raider Nationals, and most recently, she earned second place in the individual competition at the JROTC Service Championship in Anniston, Alabama, on February 8. She also led her team to a first-place finish at the championship, securing their advancement to the All Services Championship in March.

In addition to her JROTC achievements, she has enlisted in the U.S. Army as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) bomb technician and will begin training in June. Her dedication, leadership, and competitive spirit continue to set her apart."

Congrats Colton, Adi, Ellie & Drew!
