Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Cohen George & Lauren Carson; artists Alex Fletcher & Ella Hulse; and Tiger Alan Shih.
Cohen, a member of the boys' basketball team, has been a leader for the team all season, according to Head Coach James Donnelly.
“He has been a consistent leader in our locker room throughout the season," Donnelly said, "and had his best game of the year this past week with a double double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out four assists in a win versus Joplin. Thank you Cohen for being a great teammate and leading both on and off the floor!

Lauren is a standout member of the Ozark girls basketball team, according to Head Coach Brandon Clift.
"Lauren has a great work ethic and passion for the game," Clift said. "Lauren has been asked to take on many roles this season and is always willing to do what’s best for the team. Her work in the offseason has paid off tremendously for her and has set her up for the success she is having this season, including her 17 points last week in the win over Joplin."

Alex and Ella are members of OHS Choir and were the two OHS students selected to participate in the Missouri All-State Choir this year.
Their hard work culminated in a performance at the Missouri Music Educators Conference, where they sang alongside the best high school vocalists from across the state. This achievement highlights their talent, dedication, and passion for music!

Alan is a talented member of Academic Team, according to sponsor Jodi Samsinak.
"Alan is an invaluable member of the Academic Team, demonstrating dedication, leadership, and a strong commitment to growth," Samsinak said. "He takes the initiative to organize practices, stays on top of tournament details, and consistently checks in to ensure everything runs smoothly. His passion for the team's success is evident in his drive to improve and support his teammates. Alan has truly stepped up as a leader, and we are all grateful to have him on our team!"
