OF THE WEEKS (1/22)

OZARK TIGERS

OZARK | 1/22/2025

Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Jack Berryman & Keira Roberts; artist Morgan Williams and Tiger Alan Shih.

Jack, a member of the boys' basketball team, had an incredible performance against Parkview High School, helping lead the team to victory, according to Head Coach James Donnelly.

“He made the play of the game versus Parkview to help us get the lead and ultimately win the game on Tuesday with a phenomenal hustle play," Donnelly said. "Jack has done everything that has been asked of him this year, and we are proud of the way he has been able to respond to adversity. His great work ethic and effort behind the scenes have set him up for success this season. Keep working, Jack!”

Keira is a standout member of the Ozark Varsity Cheer team, which is about to compete in its biggest contest of the year, according to Head Coach Tess Keller.

"Our program is about two weeks out from our toughest and biggest competition of the year, the National High School Cheerleading Championship! These girls are working harder than ever before to bring a national title home to Ozark, and Keira is at the top of that list," Keller said. "Keira is continually motivating her teammates, setting the tone for a positive and encouraging practice environment. She is co-leading weekly Bible study and staying in communication with any of her teammates who need encouragement or support right now."

Morgan is a talented and dedicated member of the Ozark High School Winter Guard, currently serving as one of the captains for the team, according to Head Coach Theresa Walls.

"Morgan is a fourth-year varsity member and one of our co-captains of Winter Guard," Walls said. "She has an amazing work ethic and dedication to the team. She is a constant leader and continues to push herself and her teammates to success. I am looking forward to watching her perform her senior year!"

Alan is a talented member of the robotics team, which is about to enter its last contest of the season, according to sponsor Ryan Carlton.

"As a sophomore this year, he'll be the most 'senior' member of the team returning next year," Carlton said. "He has taken on a lot of different roles within the team, including 3D modeling (printing), coding apprentice, and mechanical build. Alan is involved in many different clubs and activities, and we're lucky that he takes time out of his week to make contributions to the Robotics Team."

Congrats Jack, Keira, Morgan & Alan!
