OF THE WEEKS (JAN. 13)

OZARK TIGERS

OZARK | 1/13/2025

Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Parker Williams & Keaton Hurst; artist Leilani Tavares and Tiger Jaylee Perry.

Parker is a standout member of the dance team and has already made a significant impact in her first year, according to Head Coach Genevieve Schoch.

“Parker is a freshman on our team and has already proven to be an amazing asset,” Schoch said. “She is always ready to work, continuously pushes herself to improve her skills, and is attentive and focused. Parker's heart is also one of our team's favorite things about her. She is so kind, supportive, and encouraging of all her teammates. We love having her on the team!”

Keaton is a standout member of the boys wrestling team and has played a key role in the team’s success this season, according to Head Coach Tod Sundlie.

"Keaton Hurst was a top eight finisher at the very tough KC Stampede, and he was also champion at the Kinloch Holiday Tournament, helping his team win the team championship," Sundlie said.

Leilani is a talented and dedicated pottery student who consistently showcases remarkable craftsmanship and focus, according to art teacher Adrian Johnson.

"As a Pottery 1 student, she came in last semester and completely blew me away," Johnson said. "Her craftsmanship, skill, and attention to detail are a force to be reckoned with. She came in focused and ready for the day. I am so excited to have her as a Pottery 2 student this semester and really dive into her individual craft as a potter."

Jaylee is a talented culinary student whose creativity and passion for cooking set her apart, according to culinary teacher Chef Laurent Watts.

"Jaylee is an emerging culinary artist," Chef Watts said. "You can see her artistic talent shine through in the dishes she prepares as well as any desserts she makes. I see her artistic perspective making her a fierce competitor for the FCCLA baking competition. I enjoy watching my students grow in the kitchen, and the sheer joy Jaylee displays while cooking or baking brings a smile to my face."

Congrats Parker, Keaton, Leilani & Jaylee!
