The Ozark Junior High 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams are off to a roaring start this season, showing why they’re a force to be reckoned with in the Central Ozark Conference. The 8th grade Tigers, the defending COC Champions, have set the tone with dominant victories, winning over Waynesville 56-14 and Lebanon 62-10 under the expert guidance of coaches Trevor Hale and Todd Sell. Not to be outdone, the 7th grade Tigers, led by coaches Dyllan Decker and Chandler Hodges, have demonstrated their tenacity and teamwork, defeating Waynesville 44-24 and Lebanon 39-24. While tonight’s much-anticipated game against their rival, Nixa, had to be postponed due to a shortage of referees, fans can look forward to the matchup being rescheduled for January. With such an impressive start, it’s clear the Ozark Tigers are hungry for more success this season, representing their school and community with pride and determination. Go Tigers! ??
