Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Claire Rutledge, Shelby Middleton & Alex Williams; artist Ella Hulse and Tiger Sterling Stine.
Claire and Shelby have shown exceptional skill and teamwork as doubles partners on the varsity tennis team, according to Head Coach Mark McBain.
"Claire and Shelby have been doubles partners and close friends for several years," McBain said. "This season, they achieved an outstanding doubles record of 24-3 which then earned them the fourth seed in the state doubles bracket. They also both had crucial wins in the Kickapoo and Nixa matches during the Team District tournament this week to help the team win the championship. We are very proud of them!"

Alex has been a standout player for the varsity soccer team and an incredible leader this season, according to Head Coach Zack Owens.
"Alex has been crucial for the team this season and has stepped into a role that he does not normally play," Owens said. "He’s been playing center back for us and has been a dominant force to be reckoned with. He has all the attributes to play that position and has been very successful. We are so happy to have him be a leader for us and ready to step in wherever he is needed."

Ella is a standout member of the choir program, known for her exceptional talent and dedication, according to choir teacher Connor Gately.
"Ella has been a rock star for us in choir this year," Gately said. "She sings in both of our auditioned choirs and is also the class representative for Advanced Women’s Chorus. In this role, we know we can count on her leadership daily, both musically and as an exemplary role model to her peers. She was recently selected for the 11/12 All-District Choir and will have a chance at All-State this November. She is proving every day exactly what we hope for with our senior leaders."
