With the school year up and running its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes are Marcus Heavin & Audrey Carlton; artist Asher Lairmore and Tigers Jacob Giles
Marcus is defensive back for the varsity football team and is an important leader going into the season, according to head coach Jeremy Cordell.
"He is a tremendous senior leader who strives to be 1 percent better on and off the field daily," Cordell said. "He is an excellent example of making everything 'Team First.'"

Audrey is a member of the varsity softball team and is ready for a stellar senior season, according to head coach Jimmy Nimmo.
"Audrey is returning after having a stellar junior season, receiving first team All-COC, first team All-District, and first team All-State honors," Nimmo said. "She was able to break three school records last fall. Audrey hit 18 home runs and ended the season with 62 RBIs. Also, she currently has 116 career RBIs, which is the most by any Ozark softball player and she still has her senior year to add more. Audrey is an extremely talented player, hard worker and an even better person. She excels on and off the field. I can't be any more proud of this young lady."

Asher is a part of the Pride of the Ozarks marching band and is a wonderful musician, according to assistant band director DJ Faught.
"Asher is a fantastic musician and leader in our program," Faught said. "This fall, he has a Flugelhorn solo in our marching show, and is doing an amazing job."

Jacob is a cadet in Ozark's JROTC program and an important leader for the program, according to head instructor retired CSM Jason Allen.
"Jacob is a dedicated athlete, a natural leader, and a true team player who thrives on winning," Allen said. "His infectious attitude inspires those around him to strive for excellence. Jacob leads by example, consistently holding himself to the highest standards while effectively collaborating with his peers."
