TRACK AND FIELD TEAM ENDS SEASON WITH NEW MEDALS AND NEW RECORDS

Track and Field Team Ends Season with New Medals and New Records

Boys and Girls Track Teams excelled in the 2024 season with multiple records broken, meets won and state medalists.

The girls team ended the season with first-place wins at the Zizzer Relays, Branson Invitational and Ozark Relays. They also had seven state qualifiers in multiple events including the 4x200 and 4x400 relays, pole vault, and the 100M and 300M hurdles.

The boys team ended the season with a first-place win at the Ozark Relays and a third-place finish at the Branson Invitational. They had two state qualifiers in the multiple events including the 100M and 200M dashes and the high jump.

The following students medaled/qualified for state:

- Napela Naihe: 5th at state in High Jump (placed 5th at state)

- Kannon Williams: 7th in 200M at state and set a new school record in the event, also qualified for state in 100M dash.

- Bria Wright: 8th at state in 100M hurdles, 4 x 200M relay and set a new school record in the event, also qualified for state in 300M hurdles and 4 x 400M relay

- Shelby Middleton: 4 x 200M relay and set a new school record in the event, also qualified in 4 x 400M relay

- Jeneba Pyle: 4 x 200M relay and set a new school record in the event
- Ileana Naihe: 4 x 200M relay and set a new school record in the event
- Mallory Beets: Pole Vault
- Olivia Carpenter: 4 x 400M relay
- Ella Counts: 4 x 400M relay
