OHS JROTC rifle and drill teams have been "cleaning up" at their competitions. First at the Missouri State Junior Olympics and then at Blue Springs South.

At the Missouri State Junior Olympics rifle teams walked away with first and third in Sporter Team, and second place in Precision Team. Cadet Rhett Daniel, Cadet Victoria Lovett, and Cadet Asa Wells also won individual awards.

At the drill team competition in Blue Springs, the team won the Grand Champion as well as:
1st- Overall Unarmed
2nd- Overall Armed
1st- Unarmed Exhibition
2nd- Armed Exhibition
1st- Armed Color Guard
2nd- Armed Regulation
1st- Unarmed Regulation
1st- New Cadet Unarmed
2nd- New Cadet Armed
