Our Ozark Junior High cross country athletes brought their best to two big invitationals and the results speak for themselves, with 31 personal records between the two meets. At the Republic Invitational, 16 runners set new PRs, and Kathryn Tompkins had a standout race to place in the top 20.
Then it was on to the Chili Pepper Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where 15 more runners hit new personal bests on a tough course. Diana Romanyuk cracked the top 10, one of the team's highest finishes ever at this historic race.
Huge congratulations to every runner on the hard work, grit, and big results. We can't wait to see what's next!
