The Ozark Junior High volleyball teams are off to a strong start this season, with all four teams finding success early in the year.

The eighth-grade A team, coached by Tricia Smith, currently holds a 2-2 record. The Tigers have picked up wins over Carthage and Hickory Hills while battling through a pair of tough losses to Rogersville and Cherokee. The eighth-grade B team, coached by Kyle Laws, has also started strong with a 3-1 record, with its only loss coming against Rogersville.

The seventh-grade teams have been impressive as well. Coach Aleksei Rackley’s seventh-grade A team remains undefeated, while the seventh-grade B team, coached by V’Laura Sundlie, has posted a 3-1 record.

The B teams will be back in action Saturday at the tournament at Allison SportsTown. All four Ozark teams will travel to Branson on Monday for their next matchups.

Tiger fans can catch the teams back at home on September 29 when Ozark hosts Joplin.

It has been a great start to the season, and the Tigers are looking forward to continuing to compete, improve, and represent Ozark well!
