The Ozark High School Boys Golf Team concluded an impressive 2026 season defined by steady improvement, strong finishes, and consistent performance throughout tournament play. Across the spring, the Tigers established themselves as a competitive presence on the regional stage, highlighted by both team depth and individual success.
Junior Riley Franklin delivered a standout postseason run, finishing runner-up at the 2026 MSHSAA Class 5 State Golf Championships. After capturing the district title, Franklin carded an outstanding round of 70 at state to secure second place overall, earning All-State honors and narrowly missing the top spot by just one stroke.
Ozark was also well represented throughout the field at state, with senior Evan Growcock finishing 54th after a round of 79, and junior Thomas Freeman placing 68th with an 81.
