This week, Ozark High School senior Izzy Wheeler is Athlete of the Week, presented by Guaranty Bank! Izzy is a valuable member of the girls track and field team and is gearing up to have an incredible season, according to head coach Shawn Widel.



"Izzy is a senior on our track team who has emerged as a leader across multiple events," Widel said. "She contributes as a jumper, a sprinter, and a key member of our sprint relay teams. Izzy worked extraordinarily hard during the offseason to increase her power, speed, and explosiveness, and that effort is already showing on the track. We are excited to see the great things she will accomplish for us this season."
