This week, Ozark High School sophomore Isaiah Collins is Athlete of the Week, presented by Guaranty Bank! Isaiah is a member of the boys wrestling team and is off to a great start this season, according to Head Coach Tod Sundlie.

"Isaiah was a champion at the Fort Zumwalt North Tournament and helped lead his team to a top-three finish, bringing home a team plaque," Sundlie said. "He has started his season at 7-0 and knows that the challenges ahead will bring opportunities to keep growing."

This week, Ozark High School senior Hannah Maskrod is Athlete of the Week, presented by Guaranty Bank! Hannah is one of the leaders on the girls wrestling team and has had a strong start to her season, according to Head Coach Tod Sundlie.


"Hannah has started her season off well with a 13-0 record, finishing as a champion at the Ft. Zumwalt North Tournament and helping her team finish in the top three, bringing home a plaque," Sundlie said. "She was also a champion at the Nixa Girls Invitational. She has worked hard and understands that this effort must continue to keep improving."

This week, OHS senior Korigan Pipke is Artist of the Week! Korigan is just one of Ozark's many talented artists and shines in a variety of mediums, according to art teacher Lindsey Johnson

“Korigan has so many art classes this year, I don't know how she has time to do anything else," Johnson said. "She is an outstanding artist in a variety of media, and she was really able to showcase her talents during the window painting that we recently did on the Ozark Square and all of the Ozark school buildings for Christmas."

This week, OHS junior Cameron Flygare is Tiger of the Week! Cameron is an important leader for FFA and currently serves as an officer, according to sponsor Heath Wright.

"He is an extremely hard worker and is very dependable," Wright said. "He always has a great attitude and is a team player. Last year, Cameron was on the horse judging team which received third place in state. In addition to Cameron being an outstanding student, he is one of our best welders in the shop."
