This week, Ozark High School senior Josey Ray is Athlete of the Week, presented by Guaranty Bank! Josey is a captain for the Ozark Tiger Poms dance team and is an important leader for the team, according to head coach Genevieve Schoch.



"Josie is the epitome of what it means to be a Tiger Pom. This year she is one of our four graduating seniors and this is also her second year being captain of the dance team," Schoch said. "Josie goes above and beyond for this team, puts in 110% effort always, and is constantly pushing to be better. She leads this team incredibly well by always encouraging her teammates, being a wonderful role model in and out of practice, and always being willing to help me whenever I need it. She is such a light and this team is better because of her. I can’t wait to see her continue to lead this team as we head into competition season. We love her so very much and we are so grateful to have someone like her be a huge part of this team!"
