Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Sydney Lister & Christian Kropf; artist Kendall Nelson; and Tiger Marshall Conner.
Sydney has been an important leader for the girls cross country team this season, helping guide the team to several strong finishes, according to head coach Mitchell Futkamp.
“Sydney led our girls team on Saturday, Sept. 20 with a 17th place finish at the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin," Furtkamp said. "Her 18:55 performance from this meet places her fourth on the all-time list for our program and puts her as only the fourth girl in school history to break the 19:00 barrier. It will be exciting to see how Sydney and our girls team finish this fall season."

Christian is a captian for the boys swim and dive team and has already had a very successful season.
He placed seventh in the 200M free and 17th in the 100M fly at the NKC meet. At the Ozark Invitational, he earned fourth in the 200M free and sixth in the 500M free. He also contributed to strong relay performances at the Ozark Invitational, with the medley relay team finishing seventh and the 200M free relay team taking fifth.

Kendall is one of Ozark’s most talented singers and recently auditioned for the All-District Honor Choir, according to assistant choir director Connor Gately.
“Kendall has stepped up as a tremendous leader in both Chorale and Advanced Women’s Chorus this semester," Gately said. "She also recently auditioned and was selected for the Missouri All-District Honor Choir and scored in the Top 25 of all altos, so she’ll be auditioning for All-State in November. It’s been a pleasure watching her grow over the past few years and we are excited to see what she will accomplish this year.”

Marshall is a key leader in the media productions program and has been a tremendous asset this semester, according to video productions teacher Matthew Vernatti.
“Marshall is one of our key leaders in the media program and consistently sets the example of a student who is always willing to do the work necessary," Vernatti said. "He is highly dependable, often taking initiative to troubleshoot equipment or train newer students. His technical skill has also been critical to the success of our live broadcasts, and his positive attitude makes him a great teammate."
Congrats Sydney, Christian, Kendall & Marshall!
