The Ozark High School cross country teams opened their season with impressive performances at the SWCCCA Richard Clark Invitational in Bolivar over the weekend.



The Varsity Boys placed sixth overall out of 55 teams, setting a new school record with a team average of 16:37 (breaking the previous record of 17:10). Representing Ozark were Chase Kitchin, Andrew Ashley, Garrett Stafford, Kole Delong, Jaxon Braswell, Greyson Euliss, Brody Boatright, Carter Johnson, Grant Sutherland, and Austin Allphin.



The JV Boys secured fourth place out of 21 teams with a team average of 18:47.
The Varsity Girls finished seventh out of 36 teams, posting a team average of 20:31.
The JV Girls earned fourth place out of nine teams with a team average of 23:34.



In addition to strong team finishes, Ozark athletes set multiple personal records, collected 15 medals, and established a solid foundation for a successful fall season.
