Scouting Ozark’s Week Four home contest versus Webb City on Friday:

— Ozark halted a losing streak versus Webb City at eight games by pulling out a 20-14 win at Webb City last year.

Going back to 1991, Ozark trails 20-2 in the schools’ series. During the Tigers’ eight-game losing streak, they were shut out by the Cards in three games, but put up 28, 40 and 48 points in three other games.

— Poor starts to games have plagued Ozark (1-2) the past two years and that trend continues. After putting up 17 first-quarter points at Willard in Week One, the Tigers were scoreless in the first quarter against Carthage and Republic.

Ozark has scored 74 of its 98 points in the second and fourth quarters.

Ozark’s defense has allowed 77 first-half points and 63 second-half points.

— The Tigers’ Jett Easley is averaging 15 yards per touch offensively. He has 173 yards receiving on 11 catches and 162 yards rushing on 12 carries.
