Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Audrey Carlton & Marcus Heavin; artist Callee Groves; and Tiger Sam Faught.
Audrey is one of the many talented members of the girls soccer team, according to Head Coach Zack Owens.
“Audrey Carlton, our senior captain and a true anchor on defense, delivered the game-winning goal against Glendale this week," Owens said. "A dedicated multisport athlete and relentless hard worker, Audrey consistently gets the job done, both on the field and in the classroom."

Marcus is a standout member of the baseball, according to Head Coach Justin Sundlie.
“Marcus had an outstanding week, batting .600 with 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored," Sundlie said. "He has been a consistent leader for us all season, both on and off the field, and we’re proud to recognize him as one of our 10 individual Academic All-State recipients."

Callee is one of OHS's many talented band members and has been a leader for the program for many years, according to Assistant Band Director DJ Faught.
“Callee is a leader in our band program and fantastic musician," Faught said. "If you haven't heard her play saxophone, you should! She is going to Mizzou to pursue a Saxophone Performance degree. I'm very proud of the strides she has made on her instrument!

Sam serves the school as Student Body President and has been a great leader for the school, according to StuCo Sponsor Betsey Rice.
“Sam Faught is not only our Ozark High School Student Body President, he is ENERGY," Rice said. "Sam brings such positivity to every meeting and carries that spirit and enthusiasm to everything he does with the student council. From the planning stages of the Eagle Roast, to the pep assemblies and fine arts assembly, Sam is a driving force behind it all."
Sam said he has loved being student body president, but he couldn't do it without a team of people.
“Being Student Body President is cool, but without StuCo's board and members, nothing gets done," he said. "I can have some crazy idea that I would love to see happen, but without the help from Mrs. Little, Mrs. Rice, StuCo's board and members, that crazy idea can never happen. All credit goes to them. Student Council is filled with some of the best students in OHS, they are what makes it all work out.”
Congrats Audrey, Marcus, Callee & Sam!
A special thank you to the sponsor of our Athletes of the Week: Guaranty Bank!
