OF THE WEEKS (4/7)

OZARK TIGERS

OZARK | 4/7/2025

Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Cammie Dyke & Keaton Hurst; artist Amberli Cobb and Tiger Blake Herring.

Cammie was senior captain for the Tiger Poms dance team this year, and helped lead the team to a very successful season, according to Head Coach Genevieve Schoch.

“She truly embodies everything that a Tiger Pom is," Schoch said. "She is determined, positive and dedicated. She led this team so well during her senior season, which helped our girls pull out some of their best performances due to her positive spirit and energy that she brings. She is such a light and we have been so fortunate to have her as a Tiger Pom these past four years."

Keaton is a standout member of the varsity baseball team and has had a great start to his season, according to Head Coach Justin Sundlie.

“Keaton has had a great start to his senior season," Sundlie said. "In his first two weeks he is 14 for 23 leading the team with a .603 average at the plate. He has established himself as someone that can be a spark for our offense."

Amberli is one of Ozark's talented members of color guard, according to Head Coach Theresa Walls.

"Amberli is one of our Senior Varsity Captains on winter guard," Walls said. "She helped lead her team to a fifth place finish at the MCCGA State Championships. She is a beautiful performer, inside and out. Her passion for the activity shines through when she is on the floor, and she is a constant role model for her peers. She is respectful, considerate, and inclusive, making everyone feel valued. She has had a tremendous Winter Guard career at Ozark High School, earning two state medals (2024 & 2022), being the section leader for both her junior and senior year, and performing numerous solos in our competitive shows. We are so proud of Amberli and excited for her next journey after Ozark High School!"

Blake is one of the senior officers for Ozark's FFA chapter and is really active in the program, according to FFA Sponsor Travis Phipps.

"He has been a leader in three contest teams, has won a State Qualifying Proficiency Award, has a diversified Supervised Ag Experience project with both Chickens and Hay Production, and above all has one of the best attitudes in our department and has a passion for agriculture," Phipps said.

Congrats Cammie, Keaton, Amberli & Blake!
