Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Nick Psarev & Addi Lewis; artists Emma Tayman, Sophia Patterson, McKinna Cushing and Kylee Gardner; and Tiger Maddie Rothove.
Nick is a standout member of the varsity tennis team and is currently playing in the number one position, according to Head Coach Rebekah Jenkins.
“I have coached Nick for 4 years and he has shown so much dedication to his improvement in skills and playing over his high school career," Jenkins said. "Nick leads our team by example and is a strong model for younger players. He treats his team and opponents with kindness but he competes fiercely and shows grit during matches. He is a strong pair to his doubles partner Trey Kitchin, a freshman showing up in a varsity spot even as a young player. Nick is also a pianist, has played multiple sports, and is currently excelling in three college courses, proving him to be a well-rounded and talented young man."

Addi is an important leader for the Ozark girls track team, according to Track Head Coaches Shawn Widel & Justin Emmerton.
“"Addi has shown great consistency and progress in her training," they said. "The leadership and effort she brings will help our girls track team be successful this season."
Addie said she could not be more excited for this season.
"I’m most excited to compete alongside my teammates and see how my senior year unfolds," she said.

Emma, Sophia, McKinna and Kylee are crew members for Clue: On Stage and have been instrumental in making sure the play is the best it can be, according to Director Claire Visnovske.
"These four ladies are nominated for the artist of the week after they spent all day on a Sunday in March installing our Clue On Stage set," she said. "They worked a total of 10 hours that day to make sure the actors had the set they needed for rehearsal on Monday."

Maddie is a member of Educators Rising and has been a dedicated member of the program for three years, according to Sponsor Trista Hilton.
"She consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, volunteering at numerous Educators Rising events, including concession stands, community activities, and teacher appreciation activities," Hilton said. "In addition to her volunteer work, Maddie competed at Educators Rising state this year and earned the grand championship in the 'Lesson Planning and Delivery Arts Varsity' category. She will proudly represent OHS Ed Rising at the national conference in Orlando this summer! Congratulations, Maddie! We’re incredibly proud of you!"
Congrats Nick, Addi, Emma, Sophia, McKinna, Kylee & Maddie!
