Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Keaton Hurst, Caden Harrington, Ruben Arvizu & Laura Pinzon-Torres; artist Natalie Gibson and Tiger Eric Rush.

Keaton and Ruben are members of the boys varsity wrestling team and recently medaled at state, according to Head Coach Tod Sundlie.

“Keaton and Caden finished third at the Missouri State Championships, and Ruben finished fifth," Sundlie said. "These guys kept leading our team with inspiring efforts throughout a very challenging state tournament, and helped our team once again finish in the top ten in the state of Missouri."

Laura is is a standout member of the girls swim and dive team and recently finished 12th in the 200 Freestyle and 13th in the 100 Freestyle at the Missouri State Finals. She was also an integral part of the 200 Freestyle and 400 Freestyle relay teams, helping them place 10th and

Natalie is one of Ozark's talented winter guard members, according to coach Theresa Walls.

"Natalie has outstanding dedication, skill, and performance," Walls said. "She has an amazing dance solo in our Varsity program this year, where her athleticism, discipline, and passion for dance as a sport truly shine. She is a wonderful and caring teammate, and I look forward to seeing her grow throughout her high school career."

Eric is one of OHS's standout FBLA members, according to Sponsor Matt Fevold.

"Eric has demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill in the FBLA program, earning the distinction of being a three-time FBLA state qualifier," Fevold said.
