Its time again to honor some our awesome athletes, artists and Tigers! This week's 'of the weeks' are athletes Kalyssa Bode & Jack Sallie; artist Kolby McKoy and Tiger Johnathan Smith.
Kalyssa, a member of the varsity cheerleading team, has been a huge leader for her team and instrumental in their continued success, according to Head Coach Tess Keller.
“Kalyssa’s leadership has been an asset to our program as Ozark Cheer brought home another Game Day State title for the fourth year in a row on Sunday," Keller said. "She embodies everything OVC stands for: leadership, accountability, dedication, and an unstoppable drive to be the best. Her work ethic and determination sets the standard for those around her, and she refuses to settle for anything less than excellence. We are so proud to have Kalyssa leading the way as we wrap another undefeated season in all Missouri competitions for our program!"

Jack is is a standout member of the junior varsity boys basketball team, according to Head Coach James Donnelly.
"Jack has done a great job not only on the court but in the classroom as well," Donnelly said. "He has been consistent with his effort, hard work, and leadership throughout the season. Thank you Jack for leading by example."

Kolby is a talented part of the OHS theatre program, according Theatre Director Claire Visnovske.
"Kolby is an exceptional student both in the classroom, and beyond," Visnovske said. "Kolby is always willing to lend a helping hand in the theatre department, whether it be building sets, running the sound board, or even on stage. Kolby truly is a well rounded theatre student. You can catch Kolby as Mr. Green in our upcoming production of 'Clue: On Stage'!

Johnathan is one of OHS's very talented culinary students and currently working as an apprentice in the The Mill Restaurant at Finley Farms, according to Chef Laurent Watts.
"Johnny is a very talented and capable young chef," Watts said. "He enjoys cooking and plans on making a career out of it. In class, Johnny is a rock star, usually the first to complete a lab, often tweaking his dishes to his liking rather than sticking to the recipe. I like to watch a student grow into what they dream of becoming. I get to do this daily with Johnny. His journey to become a talented and successful chef will be great to watch. I can't wait to see the places his journey takes him."
Congrats Kalyssa, Jack, Kolby & Johnathan!
